Tekapo Retreat

Tekapo Retreat is our self-containedholiday home, built next door to us at Tekapo Heights. It has all modern conveniences,open plan living, dining and kitchen area, heated by a gas fire and heat pump. The kitchen has a large breakfast bar, gas stove top and electric oven, dishwasher and microwave all to make that holiday easier. Fully equipped, you only need to bring your personal things and food.

Great views of Lake Tekapo can be seen from the lounge window and the large sliding glass doors which open out on to the garden & paved outdoor area equipped with a barbecue.

A fully equipped laundry room with washing machine and dryer, also outside clothes line is available.

There are 3 bedrooms to caterer for guests, 1 super king bedroom which also has an ensuite & glass sliding doors opening on to the paved outside area. The next room has a queen bed with its own ensuite, 3rd room has a queen and a single bed, this room opening into the main bathroom (shower & bath) which also has access from the hall way, both doors can be locked so making the bathroom into another ensuite. A toilet, entered from the hall is right next door.

A single garage is attached to the house which has a large wardrobe with a heater in it to dry ski clothes if necessary.

Only 5 minutes walk to the Lake Tekapo village where you can pick up supplies at the local garage/ grocery store.

Lake Tekapo also has a number of restaurants and take aways available. Many activities can be booked in the village. Information can be obtained from us or the site centre.
